Our goal is to be a coffee destination in the Carolina’s. We want to be a MUST when you are in the area, and then live up to the hype.

But how do we become one of the best cups of coffee you have ever had???

It all starts with the bean…

There are about 20 steps in the process of getting liquid gold into a cup for you and I to enjoy.

Steps 1-10 are done at the farm. Jags Head coffee is a family owned farm and roaster. The farm is in El Salvador on the side of a volcano! (pictured here)

They grow, pick, and process the coffee in El Salvador and then send it up to Charlotte, NC to be roasted at their roastery.

The coffee is fantastic, we literally know who grew it and roasted it.

It doesn’t get any better.

Our Job as the barista is to not screw up the coffee bean. It is beautifully grown, processed, and roasted; it just needs our help to shine.

We use only the best ingredients for all our drinks: locally sourced milk, organic flavors, and never seed oils or artificial anything.

We undertook the painstaking process of drinking delicious coffee after delicious coffee to find the right combination for each and every drink.

Finally, and maybe most importantly, we make sure you feel welcome and warm at Mug & Maple. Without you we don’t get to share what we love to the world.

About Mug& Maple

Mug & Maple was born from love.

And not only because the owners are married…

Mug & Maple’s vision is to create a cafe that mixes everything great about a Italian cafe with a flair of New England (where Nate and Kate are from!)

European cafes emphasis the importance of time and quality.

Coffee is not a thing to be rushed, but enjoyed. Even if you take just 5 minutes to enjoy your cup of coffee, that is 5 minutes well spent and your day will be better for it.

The ingredients we use are also more in line with European standards. No seed oils, no bleached grains, and no artificial anything. Your body deserves only the best, and that’s all we serve!

Finally, the New England flair! Nate and Kate are both from New Hampshire. That is where the Maple comes from. Our Maple Syrup is some of the best in the world. The people from New England are tough, but also want you to feel warm and welcome.

When I think about New Hampshire, truthfully I think about a lot of things, but one that sticks out is a ski lodge. So warm and cozy on a cold day.
